This is my 3rd pair of glasses and my last! This time, they lasted only 6 months! The frame broke and I thought perhaps that they might give me a discount towards another pair, since I paid $370 ! They said I didn't purchase the one year plan so they couldn't replace!...

Lenscrafters Eyeglass Lenses Review

Details
My lenses started deteriorating and getting ridiculously scratched a little I've 6 months after I got the glasses. I took them in--they only guarantee their lenses for 30 days unless you buy the "protection plan". That's it, out of luck. I've worn glasses all my life, never had this happen before and I'm *** about their crummy product!

I have been a client of Lens Crafters for over 15 years (I am 81) and have always found the people to be an absolute delight with whom to work. They have given service beyond the call on many occasions. I keep popping the lens from the frame because I chose to go...

LensCrafters review in Allston, Massachusetts: Three Strikes Shame on Me

Brookline Ma.Three times on glass prescription. First time RX Sunglasses different shade one darker than the other, real hassle for them to admit error, second experience progressive lens, spotting on lens, another hassle to make them right even with the protection plan. third experience Persol frames with progressive lens, had cataract surgery with new script from eye surgeon and wanted to keep frames, weaker prescription wanted $ 500.00 to replace the lens., this will be last my last visit. Extremely poor service, feel like dealing with used car salesman, I have no faith in Lenscrafters making the correct script.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!. Todays date is 09/07/2015. I tried to take advantage of the 50% off sale. I wear a very common frame. Not Oakley or Ray-ban. The retail on the frame is about $189.00. My prescription is tri focal with no lines and plastic lenses. The sales...

Right. I can tell you I'm giving you "50% off" of ANYTHING by making you believe it "really" should cost twice what I'm charging you. Pathetic ***.

Pricing issue
Consumer Beware: It is my perception that Lenscrafters has very unethical customer sales, pricing and financing practices. The first thing they do when you sit down to get glasses is they will try to sell you on a credit card with a 29.99% interest rate. They...

You can always go to your regular doctor no matter what - they can file your *** insurance for you as "out of network".

If your diagnosis is not farsighted or nearsighted then the visit will be filed on your health insurance and the vision "exam" is money wasted anyway.

Likely though - you'll see why nobody takes that junk. The rates are about what optometrists earned 40 years ago (no lie !!!).

They're trying (successfully with you) - to steer you in to one of their *** houses where they can make even more money because they make the frames and control everything the optometrist does - fees, hours, etc, etc, etc.

I been wearing glasses forever. My mom was always the person to pick my glasses for me, because I was young. Well now that I'm old enough to shop on my own, I been going by myself, and it has been a horrible experience being followed each time I enter the store. Most...

You were probably followed around because you people are usually up to no good. Trying to steal the "Fo-sace" frames or any other name brand your favorite rapper is rapping about on their latest album.

Or just any frame that has "bling" on it (is that the term you guys use for rhinestones?). Lenscrafters is too expensive for you guys anyways. Stick to the local swap meet eye place or better yet, open your own optical shop targeting your demographic. You could call it "Hip-Hop-tomety".

Or "Glasses for ***". You need not pay me royalties for the names should you choose to use it.

See, I'm charitable! Just like you people expect.

Tried to purchase glasses and took advantage of 90 day unconditional guarentee. When I tried to return them I got embarrassed by the associate as she snickered are you sure you want these glasses because you returned glasses before.

She had the manager come over who again degraded me in front of other customers by treating me like a little kid by asking are you sure you want these glasses.

Not only did I have to wait a long time to be served but when I purchased the glasses before, she never adjusted them for a proper fit but was more interested in getting another sale. Poor Poor customer service,

If you were to go to any business and treat their employees with such disrespect, they would ask you to leave. Now you're posting a poor review because you were too ignorant to have an open mind about some one else's lifestyle.

You probably called their corporate office and complained there too.

It's people like you that make me hate working in a service industry. Go get educated and open your mind you goon.
