I wish l had read the review. I was early and the Dr was fifteen minutes late because she was at lunch.

I was then told that my glasses would be ready in an hour...it's now an hour and twenty minutes, but they are telling me another twenty minutes. If you like to waste your time, come here.

Their motto is "in about an hour", it is not "in an hour". If you check the FAQs on their website, they state this.

Think about it like this: when you to eat and the hostess tells you the wait time is 15 minutes. That time is not set in stone, it is an estimate that could well end up being less than OR more than the time given.

And surely you are not resentful at the eye doctor for being late because she was at lunch. She probably was delayed by an estimated wait time that turned out to be slightly longer.
