LensCrafters in Knoxville, Tennessee - I can see clearly now

I bought glasses from VisionWorks before, but think LensCrafters' frames are better. I got trifocals from West Town Mall in Knoxville, and they are just what the doctor (next door) ordered! Dustin was thorough and his boss made sure the measurements were exact for tri's in smaller frames than I had before. He spelled out the costs and what my insurance would cover and what I would pay. He offered the optional breakage coverage but didn't push it. I declined that when ordering but asked for it when I picked the glasses up. I don't want to pay for glasses that cost almost $500! It was a great experience and I have 30 days to take them back if I am not satisfied. Thanks, LensCrafters!

Lenscrafters deceptive or incompetent?

1.0
Details
Initially we selected a pair of frames for my son at Lenscrafters at Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs . The lab at the store said the lenses would work in the frames, but they would have to send them out. The store called back a few days later saying they wouldn't work after all. We picked out another pair that were sent out again. The lab couldn't do it, then they went to the wrong lab, then another lab. All the while we have been "a few days" away from getting glasses for our son. They have our money, but six weeks later our son still has no glasses. They know that if they say it will be any longer that we would cancel and get them somewhere else, but a few days is quicker than a new order. Have they been telling the truth? Or is the Lenscrafters organization really this inept?

LensCrafters - Optomitrist Elaine M Dolci Investigation needed for poor service
Elaine M Dolci has got to be the worst excuse for an eye doctor ever. She works in Merritt Island / Cocoa Florida area. Rude, impatient and unprofessional. Her push and shove method for fitting glasses and pushy sales angle we not appreciated. Dolci particularly...

LensCrafters - Customer Service in Prescott

I have been a Lenscrafter customer for over 15 years and bought many eye glasses there. I have always had the best service at the Fashion Square location. I retired and moved to Prescott in 2013. I wanted to continue the service in Prescott but after going in 3 different times on different days, I never got waited on. So I went to another place (there are many other places to buy glasses). I recently lost my sunglasses and went back today, but it was so disorganized that I thought of leaving. This store is under staffed, computer problems, very long wait times and no system of who is next. I heard it from other people who were also waiting. I did order sunglasses, but in the future will probably go back to the valley as they are customer friendly. I know Prescott is losing many customers, which is a shame.

I think you will find the Fashion Square has also deteriorated in service. I was given different information and not treated well.

LENSCRAFTERS - UNPROFESSIONAL SALESPEOPLE

I went to the Princeton location over this weekend because I lost my prescription sunglasses. The salesperson that helped me did not have samples of gradient tinting i could refer to so she gave me a level 3 tint which ended being too dark. I couldn't see out of the glasses with that tinting. They then tried to remove some tint and it still wasn't right. They told me it would take longer to do so I left the area and went home. I had to call to see if they were ready. When I called later that day, they told me that they were ready and the tinting was fine. I drove 18 miles back to the store to find the tint spotty. Upon suggesting that they make me a new pair of lenses and stating my dissatisfaction to the sales associate, someone else got involved in my conversation. This person was a store employee who overheard my conversation. He felt that he should take the situation over so I wouldn't continue to comment about my dissatisfaction. He went as far as mocking me in front of the store employees and customers. I had to ask him to stop mocking me so I could continue elaborating on what I expected. This happened on Friday evening and tomorrow is Monday and I still haven't heard about them being ready for me to pick them up. These people are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! I am astonished by the way I was treated at the store. I am a good and loyal customer to boot! I almost wanted to cancel the order completely to prove my point, but I decided to write this complaint instead.

Kind of sounds like a "bad service because you could be a bad customer" situation. Sounds like you just wanted to stand there repetitively complaining loudly and disregard what employees were trying to say to you and how do you expect people to deal with someone like that?

I am happy with my new glasses. However I was told they were covered by a warranty for one year. What I was not told is that would cost me $34.99, which was added to my bill, and I didn't realize it until I got home. I should have been offered the OPTION of the...

You're an *** to leave your glasses in the heat and then suggest that they are defective when they get damaged. Your reasoning is defective.

The only time it would be illegal for them not to give you a PD is if it was taken as part of the exam (there's no reason for it to be and it 99.9% of the time isn't.) The opticians are under no obligation to render services for free. Sorry bud.

First off, how do you know she's a drug user and/or an alcoholic? Did you witness her smoking a joint and drinking a forty in person? If not, those are some pretty heavy accusations to not have any proof to support it.

I understand that you are upset about the poor service you received but name calling is a bit immature
