LensCrafters in Glendale, California - Disappointed

Took my computer glasses into Burbank location because a screw fell out. The 1st rep. said "come back in 1 hour". Went back in 1 1/2 hours and she told me they haven't started on them. She said come back in 3 hours or we will call you if they are ready before that. No call, So I called them after 4 hours and was told they can't find the right screw. So I took them to Cosco where the technician found a screw to fit. She took five minutes to fix my glasses. She just cut down the length, but it fit securely. If the first rep. said they have not begun to work on them, why did she use the excuse, we have to customize one for you. I guess they were not interested in obtaining a new customer. Manager kept emphasizing we have to wait on our customers during the Easter holiday. The technician that worked on the glasses said he tried 20 different screws with no success. Ha Ha I told him he should hire the person from Cosco in the eye glass department. I wasted 6 hours with Lenscrafter.

Lenscrafters - Glasses Review from Calgary, Alberta

2.8
Details
I purchased glasses and sunglasses in a Lenscrafters Calgary, Canada location with warranty on the first pair of glasses. In 5 months the frames fell apart and were replaced under the one time warranty. Six months later I had to Krazy Glue them together. Then small cracks started appearing around the edges of both lenses. I said to *** with it and went to an optometrist for a checkup and glasses. I asked about the Lenscrafter glasses and they identified them as cheap polycarbonate! I paid Lenscrafters $800.00 for those glasses (second one 1/2 price, yeah right). They did not tell me they were *** lenses or offer any other. The optometrist charged me $1100.00 for top notch frames, top notch brand name lenses, transitions, anti glare, with one year warranty on Both glasses. Also included was very careful fitting of the glasses and cheerful unrushed service. I would NEVER go back to Lenscrafters!

Lenscrafters - Glasses Perscription Review from Lawrenceville, Georgia

5.0
Details
I have had the same prescription for over 10 years with no change, I usually go in every year or two. I had just gotten new lenses on the expedition day, then a week later I lost my glasses and now I need a prescription, why? We're my new lenses only good for one day? Did they not think I would use them for a year, so pissed! They won't make me a pair without seeing the doctor. I will never go back to lenscrafters

This is a quality mark. Laser etchings, such as the ones that you described, are included on all ditigally surfaced lenses.

It is fairly new technology, and they are very faint.

They help your optician determine specifications about the manufacturing of your glasses. They are on the inside of your lens, and they in no way affect the scratch-coated qualities.

LensCrafters in Indianapolis, Indiana - 1st visit extremely poor, 2nd visit BETTER!

3.6
Details
They tried to push the lower inferior lenses on me stating that I didn't need the higher quality and were trying to give me the poly carbonate. I told them I had done my research and knew exactly what I was looking for and to provide what I asked for. Needless to say...the lenses that I chose are now on order and they are plastic. My first experience was horrible, the woman acted like she didn't want to help me, but the 2nd time I went in, the woman was a lot more helpful and explained things a lot more. You should always research before buying anything like this. Have some sort of idea when you go in what you are looking for and don't let them talk you out of anything and into something you don't want!

Westfield Franklin Park location of Lenscrafters provided me excellent service. From the professional and thorough exam to receiving my glasses in an hour, the level of service was amazing. 2 weeks after having them, an issue occurred with one lens. I had not purchased insurance for them, but they replaced it, no questions asked. I will be repeat customer!

Lenscrafters - Contacts Review from Detroit, Michigan

Details
Came the lens crafter at Easton town center. And the rude lady didn't assist me she gave me nothing but excuses. I took my friend to get new contacts all I needed was new frames and because my lens were good. The one at east was vs. Saying he could get my lens in color because that what I needed because he wanted me to get plug for eyes I did not need and *** lied. I will never set foot in another lens crafters ever and I will tell each and every one of my friends and co workers as well that service sucks from A to Z . I spend hundreds for my glasses and this is service.. no more

How is anyone supposed to understand you when you talk like that? Learn to speak proper English. I literally have no idea what you were trying to say here.

You should consider using spellchecker, or learn how to form sentences. Maybe if you had glasses or contacts you could read a grammar book or two to help yourself out.

What would you snap a photo of some random cashier at the register? WTF is wrong with you?

You don't come across as someone who can afford to shop at North Hills!

Go to Northgate in Durham.. that is more your style!
