LensCrafters review in Imperial, Pennsylvania: PERSCRIPTION NOT CORRECT
I assumed I had to adjust to new script, didn't realize 30 days had passed, using "very" old glasses now, my new glasses are practically useless, won't do any adjustments because I passed the 30 days now I am stuck , only thing I can do is go else where, but who has that kind of money,, trying to locate corporate office address so I can write to them, smart, very evasive making sure no complaints reach them, I would not recommend Len Crafters to any one,, should have know when I walked in,, the sales woman rushed me,, live and learn the hard way.

LensCrafters review: Good luck telling them they got it wrong
I recently got a pair of glasses from them. When I initially put them on, I could tell the lenses were really warped along the edges. I felt like I was in a tunnel and if I looked anywhere outside of the focal point it would make me dizzy. When wearing them I found I would have to turn my whole head to keep things in proper focus. I mentioned this to the sales person and they assured me I just needed time to get used to it. After about 4 hours of wearing them, the strain on my eyes was far too much. My eyes were bright red and incredibly irritated. I could not even switch back to my contacts because my eyes hurt too much. I went back to see if there was something they could do to help fix it. Every time I mentioned there was something wrong with the lens, they kept turning it around making me feel like it was my fault the glasses were not working. I had not given them enough time to adjust. I had the wrong prescription. I picked too big of glasses. This was beyond frustrating. They weren't listening and I've never had a pair of glasses that hurt my eyes so bad. Heaven forbid I ask for a refund. I had to stand firm on their company policy as stated in their website that if I did not love the glasses I would get my money back. When a refund was mentioned they kept trying to change the subject so I had to put my foot down. It took me going back twice before I got a refund. Terrible.

LensCrafters review: Needed a plain glass lens.
My Wife & I are long time customers. I had cataract surgery with a toric lens inserted in my left eye. my surgeon recommended my left glasses lens be changed to a plain glass lens. I went to Lenscrafters at Scarborough Town Centre and the person I talked to who turned out to be the manager tells me that is in excess of $250.00 for a piece of glass. This person had a smug attitude. We have spent thousands of $ at Lenscrafters over the years and not only that the lens in my eye was $1500.00 Ken Pickup ken_pickup@rogers.com

LensCrafters review in Overland Park, Kansas: Tint on sunglasses coming off
Purchased a pair of subscription non polorized sunglasses about a year ago for my motorcycle to avoid double polorization glare. I have used these glasses only about 15 times and now the tint is wearing or pealing off. LensCrafters says that is my problem and won't stand behind them. Luckily I have my lifetime guarantee. "I promise that as long as I live I will never do business with them again". I guarantee it. I hope this will help other potential customers to make a better a decision than to do business with the Overland Park store on 119th Street

Glasses Review
Within the last 3 years, i have been through at least 6 pairs of glasses. After about 4 or 6 months the lenses start cracking. When you pay 500 for a pair a glasses and 50 dollars every 6 months to replace them, it gets old real fast. Glasses used to last 5 years and now i would be lucky to get 5 months. Horrible

LensCrafters review in Overland Park, Kansas: Customer service
I just picked up my prescription eye glasses at the store in Overland Park, KS. I purchased lens with a retail value of almost $1,000 and the cleaning supplies I received were 3 packets of towelettes. This is the worst cleaning package I have ever received when purchasing lens of this type. I do not anticipate coming back to your stores in the future based on this level of service. It is extremely disappointing to spend a retail value on eye glasses of over $1,200 and get this level of service. The lenses were the verilux, no line bifocal, transition and premium ar combination. I purchased similar lens from other companies and have always been provided with cleaning cloths and solutions to last longer than 3 cleanings.

Glasses Review
I requested to have my glasses tightened. The lens crafter technician heated up my glasses. This caused my lens to fragment. I complained but was told that i had agreed to not hold lens crafter responsible if something happened to my glasses. I was given opportunity for repair at a discount. I did not get the amount of discount since I did not agree that I should.
