Lenscrafters loots customers with bad quality frames
I bought a pair of glasses in April 2015 for $525. The frame "Tiffany" brand cost was $230. In 2 months the color of the frame starting coming off! I went to the store to show them the frame and they said I can buy a new frame! Because I turned down warranty, I...

Glasses Review

Got new glasses and were blurry as *** , could read all the signs and such without them , then the *** little salesman tries to cop an attitude because he said that's normal. I'm supposed to pay $350 for blurry vision. Lenscrafters in Canton sucks.

Glasses Review

I took my prescription to Lenscrafter in Hillsboro, OR. I ordered 2 pair of glasses & paid in full. I was told they'd be available in 7-10 days. 3.5 wks & 5 phone calls: no glasses. Jerked me around. Cancelled order, got a refund & went to Costco.

LensCrafters in Missoula, Montana - Horrible Customer Service..Dishonest

Was told time of service that insurance covered my contacts, I paid co-pay and left with 4 box of contacts. 3 months later they bill me since insurance did not cover. I told them I would have not bought the 4 boxes if I had known at the time of service. She said so what you still took the 4 boxes!!??!! She even told me that they usually don't give anything to customers unless paid in full time of service. Seems like they made the mistake. She was rude, short and was treated me like I was the ***. My point is that they are the office and should've known my insurance was not going to pay and I should have not left with 4 boxes of contacts. They made the mistake of not checking my insurance

I don't work for them, but it is your responsibility to know your insurance before you go to an appointment.

People need to KNOW their insurance coverage. Take responsibility.

I would be more upset with the insurance company not covering your contacts. Having worked in an optometry office, there have been several instances where our staff verified benefits and eligibility before a patient would come in, then having to bill the patient for something because we were given the wrong information by one of the representatives.

I've called an insurance company out on it, but all they respond with is "the terms of payment are determined when a claim is received and reviewed and are not a guarantee of payment". Complete ***, if you ask me.

That being said, she should have offered alternatives to billing you, such as returning any boxes that weren't covered by the insurance and not have been rude about it.

I went to the LensCrafters at Firewheel in Garland. My first time there and my last. I didn't realized that they had overcharged me on a pair of glasses until a couple of days later. The price on the tag was lower than that of the charged price on the receipt. Seem simple enough to go back and have them reimbursed the difference. That didn't happen. They said that the price on the tag was incorrect. So, they didn't reimbursed me. Any other places would have honor their mistakes. She grabbed my frames and cut off the tag. Needless to say I will not patron any LensCrafters ever again.

Girlfriend glasses at Lenscrafters and within 10 months lenses started crazing in surface. They replaced them and in 7 months same thing. Very frustrating to her fir many months trying to read with them. Her next doctors visit, not at Lenscrafters, resulted in her getting glasses from the doctor now. Ever again from Lenscrafters. They have had this problem for many years it seems and they do nothing about it. Something wrong with this company.

I have been a customers of Lenscrafters for a long time. I have bought at least 8 pairs of glasses from them. And my last pair in 18 months or so have spider web cracked on the surface. I went into the store and they said they were exposed to extreme heat and they are over 1 year old and there for they will do nothing. I gave them one chance to save my business and now I have bought glasses else where. Nobody can believe how bad my glasses are. But Lenscrafters didnt seem surprised at all.
