59th and Columbus Circle, NYC (a new branch)

I paid and ordered glasses--the day they were supposed to be ready, I called them and they were very very rude--the glasses were there but had not been inspected???, I called a second time (Five hours later) and was cut off by the store manager. When I finally got someone, they were more interested in closing the store for the upcoming inventory. I still do not have my glasses.

Lenscrafters = Junk

Next time, I am going to a neighborhood optometrist---the prices are basically the same.

We are in a recession--stores stay open because of customers--unhappy customers= no jobs= no businesses.

The day of my eye exam--two people were scheduled for the exact same time (with ONE optometrist) and the optometrist was 30 minutes behind schedule. No one apologized for the delay. This is NYC--this business is not going to succeed if it is run as it is.

Lenscrafters does have a customer relations phone number. If that store was being rude and the General Manager was not resolving the situation then you need to make sure that LC knows about it.

If it was not the GM that you spoke with then you need to speak to the GM of the store. Its hard for a company to fix a problem in a store if they don't know about it. LC holds their managers responsible for the actions the stores take. Its up to you as a customer to make sure LC knows of the problem so the next person walking through the door doesn't have the same issue.

Its your right to vent and speak freely but complaining here doesn't fix the problem for the next customer. IF you were the next customer wouldn't you want this issue resolved before you walked through those doors?
