I paid over 400.00 for glasses and Lens Crafters sold me the anti-glare coating. In less than 1 yr. it is rubbing off. I asked if they could remove the coating and they said no that it just rubs off. The glass is not scratched and I take good care of my glasses. If they had told me the anti-glare would rub off I would not have purchased it. They said they could replace the lens for 1/2 price. What a rip off and really poor customer service. Lens Crafters has lost my family's business.

The Backside INV coating has begun to crack and separate on my $459 pair of 2 year old Progressive Sun Polar Grey tinted glasses purchased from Lens Crafters. It makes the lens look severely scratched and the view through the lens is now distorted. When I visited the store expecting a solution to the problem, I was told that I had caused the problem by using mild soap and water to clean them instead of optical quality lens cleaner. That same mild soap and water has never affected any of my other glasses. It is also strange that it had no adverse effect for the first 2 years and then suddenly this problem arose.
